Two Fat Guys Sim Racing Promotions has returned in full stride with a team of 6 members and the support of multiple partnered leagues, including Reigel Promotions E-Sports and Outlaw Dirt Series. With the TFG Sport Compact Series having been announced with registration now open, and three other series on the way, TFGSRP is set to transform from its’ former state of being a special events hub for weird and extraordinary events into a league with those same styled events, and some series that capitalize on such bizarre combinations. But first, let’s take a moment to discuss the future surrounding this return, and what it will hold for racers over the winter.

With the recent announcement of the TFG Sport Compact Series and the opening of registration for it, traction is steadily growing. With 15 registered drivers and counting- the series is shaping up to be one for the history books. Additionally, TFGSRP staff has announced that the series champion will be receiving a custom trophy, and the driver within the series that claims the most points across the three dirt races will receive $25.00 USD. As it stands, other awards may find their way to drivers through multiple means, such as simply winning a feature event. Each feature event winner, not just across the Sport Compact Series, but across the entirety of the league, will be mailed a “Feature Winner” sticker for each and every win within the TFGSRP season.

In other news, another series is just on the horizon and is set to take its’ own first green flag on December 15th during a NON POINTS event at Lanier National Speedway on the dirt! The Sportsman Late Model Series, which is also slated to be broadcasted by Right Rear Racing TV on Monday nights, has a very unique start to its’ schedule before becoming your standard pavement late model series. The series will make visits to notable late model tracks across an 11 race season, with 9 being at tracks only 3/4 of a mile in length or shorter, with the longest being at USA International Speedway. Although the awards situation surrounding this series hasn’t gained traction outside of the champion receiving a trophy and feature winner stickers being provided, we anticipate traction to grow in the near future as the start for the series draws near.

Here is the official schedule for the Sportsman Late Model Series Schedule.

Although up to this point, discussion about this has been open but no official noting of this has been made, it is confirmed that TFGSRP will be putting both Big Block Modifieds and 358 Modifieds on track at the same time for a 10 race series that is set to start at Volusia Speedway Park and end the season at “The Dirt Palace”, Oswego Speedway. The name of the series takes Biblical inspiration, being coined as The David Vs Goliath Championship. Series rules will require that the Big Block Modified be given a yet to be determined weight penalty, and that all race tracks have an advanced starting state that is determined based on track size. The combination of making the tracks slicker and the more powerful modified have a weight disadvantage should even the score and help viewers and drivers see where each vehicle shines. The schedule will not yet be released until dates have been selected with a broadcaster.
