The 2026/2027 Sim-Season for Two Fat Guys Sim Racing Promotions is shaping up to be another spectacular season, now with the introduction of the United Sim Racing Confederation and the return of beloved events from seasons past, as well as the new introduction of a few other special events. To cut through the nitty-gritty, the team here at TFG has worked hard to get a schedule done ahead of time so the focus can be shifted onto other areas like the soon-to-come rules updates, and the preparation of media surrounding each individual event across the league AND the United Sim Racing Confederation.

The United Sim Racing Confederation, to touch on briefly- is essentially a sanctioning body, and the 2026/2027 points season will range from November 1st of 2026 to March 20th of 2027, an even 20 week period. Across this time frame there will be over 40 events scheduled for the Dirt Street Stock, with the same format for heats, points and a centralized championship. Among this, there is also the opportunity for competitors to earn a plaque, starting with becoming the champion in one of the involved leagues’ USRC program, OR by completing the 2026-2027 Centralized Championship within the top 3. The plaques will be slightly smaller across the 6 league champions, while the plaque for the top 3 within the Centralized Championship will be slightly larger & feature a photograph of the awarded competitor’s vehicle on the iRacing platform.

As for TFG itself, the plans are a bit less series-focused than the previous season, with a heavy focus on the special events and smaller focus on individual series or points. Only select events however, will be eligible for a points championship. There is a 3 race ARCA mini-championship, with all races taking place on dirt while utilizing the current ARCA versions. As for FASTuary… things got MUCH faster. We have brought UMP Modifieds to the table and changed their power & weight so that the competitors can experience the TFG SUPER Modifieds in all their glory! Plus… stay tuned for news surrounding a give-away series of sorts, that divides the finishing field in thirds before using a random picker wheel to select three competitors, one from each of those groups across three events. Competitors from this series that win these random picker wheel drawings will have the option to “Take The Money and Run” (In the wise words of The Steve Miller Band), OR they can opt to put it into a “Final Pot’, where ONLY drivers that opted into “Final Pot” have the chance to compete for the grand total in an invite-only event! More details are to come on this soon.

Now for the real fun- the special events. Across 7 events starting on Friday, September 11th of 2026, drivers will have the greatest opportunity to compete in some of the most highly anticipated events in TFG for the ’26/’27 season. These events include (in no particular order) The 2nd Annual Stock Car Showdown, new setup, same pavement street stocks, now at Oswego Speedway on the dirt layout (and let me tell ya, these suckers really boogie around that 5/8 mile oval). The Never Forget 50, an event to be held in remembrance of the September 11th, 2001 attacks on American soil. That event will be held at USA International Speedway on the dirt layout with the 2008 NASCAR Silverado. The Paper Crown Showdown is another fun one, with the Outlaw Wingless Micro Sprint Cars taking on the stage at Knoxville Raceway.

The Small Car Shootout is among one of the other returning events, this time at Weedsport Speedway, and the other returning event is a long time favorite- The 5th Annual Trucker’s Tangle presented by Reigel Promotions E-Sports. The final two are polar opposites, but in a good way! One is a twin 25 format for Late Model Stock Cars at Eldora Speedway, that’s right- the same event that helped kickstart TFG has come back around and is out way of thanking the community for how far we’ve come with its’ help. And finally, The Prelude to The Trucker’s Tangle- an Off-Road Dirt Course event to be held with the FIA Cross Car, large amount of cars is allowed to start the A-Main, a free track, a free car, AND a longer distance feature event. That’s right- we’re testing your endurance in one of the most difficult disciplines in all of the iRacing platform, and just one night before we flip the 40 lap limit for the trucker’s tangle flat on its’ face with a new twist.
